Denmark is known as a small, beautiful and charming country. Home of the Vikings, fairytales like The Little Mermaid, bacon, and butter. We here have a high quality of life and are known as some of the happiest people in the world. But we do have some unusual habits according to tourists and foreigners, so I have gathered some of the things they have been puzzled by in the Danish society.
I love people! Meeting new people is the best part of travelling. I love to hear their stories and everyone has a story. So I have dedicated a series of posts to the people – called Faces of the World. All of these photos are taking by me and I might even share their story. See part one, three and four for more photos of beautiful people!
Denmark is a really small country and I have met a lot of people who didn’t even know where Denmark is. I have met people who believed that Denmark is the capital of Ikea. It is not. It is a small country in Scandinavia, above Germany, next to Great Britain, Sweden and below the tip of Norway, but this is not the time to bore you with boring facts, instead I have gathered some fun facts about Denmark, which you might not know!
